Je devais avoir une dizaine d'années. J'ai retrouvé dans un placard deux imperméables en pvc couleur fumée translucide aspect vinyl achetés pour mes frères quelques années auparavant. Il y avait une capuche et la fermeture se faisait par boutons en métal blanc.
Je me les suis alors appropriés pour les vêtir, ce qui me procurait chaque fois une immense sensation de plaisir.
J'ai aujourd'hui plus de 60 ans et ce plaisir continue !

I was five. 1959. I came home from school wearing a gaberdine style raincoat one day. It had been raining but when I got home it was warm. I had to take my raincoat to the bedroom. I took it off and noticed it smelled sooo nice. I sat on a chair and started sniffing. I couldn’t stop. It wanted me to smell it all over. I did.

A salty, sweet, rubbery smell that I’ve seldom found since. But I keep looking and I’ve found maximum pleasure in other gaberdine Mac’s including Burberry but similar.

These are the hotline to arousal in my groin.

Ils étaient parfait. Mes parents les avaient achetés, ils n'avaient jamais été portés. Lorsqu'ils étaient à ma taille, je rencontrais une telle attirance que je me suis fait plaisir à les porter. Discrètement, mais dès que j'en avais l'occasion, je le faisais. C'est ainsi que ce plaisir m'est arrivé.

C'était pour moi le début d'une aventure, une passion qui me suivra toute ma vie.

Probably early childhood. My parents would take me and my brother to Wales for holidays and always bought us rubber-lined nylon raincoats from Gelert. I hated wearing them and was super embarrassed for the majority of the holidays. I guess that's why I link wearing rainwear with a little humiliation.

The "humiliation" thing is very real, particularly when associated, as it was back in the day, with interactions with females. With me it was the, regrettably necessary, extended use of nappies and plastic pants, with associated rubber sheets. Just remembering, let alone re-enacting, still produces a reaction.

For me I am pretty sure it all started when I was little and made to wear plastic pants and sleep with plastic or rubber sheets as a bed wetter. So I don’t recall the details specifically, just that I have always been a lover of soft plastic, but also PVC and anything shiny. But I do remember having a thing for a girl when I was about 11 - she was way out of my league. She went into hospital to have her appendix out, and I remember seeing her chatting with others who had also had operations. I had never had an operation and for a while I so wanted to have to go to hospital and find a common ground with that girl, that I developed a fetish. I started eating anything with seeds that I would not normally have in the hope of getting appendicitis and having to go to hospital. Thankfully the fetish didn’t last, but I can see how desires can be made from situations where some things stick and become a part of us for the rest of our lives.

Not sure how old I was but I used to like standing outside in the rain with my coat on feeling protected and safe, so much so I used to go out when it rained, and at some point I had one of those nylon parkas which went shiny with the rain on them. So as I got older my love of shiny wet things developed into a love of pvc, leather and other shiny materials.

Somewhere along the line it changed from me enjoying wearing coats to wanting to see women wearing pvc and rainwear in particular. And I think because of the way it accentuates the female shape the belted mac/trenchcoat in pvc became my absolute favourite.

As I got even older I guess I accepted that I wasn't going to find anyone who would wear it for me, so over the last decade I have started photographing models wearing it.

Have you ever thought of wearing one yourself? I'm a man too and I do it sometimes and it's so good!
