That’s a really good way to put it. I never thought about it being a vulnerability. I suppose the fear of rejection from someone we love is a real possibility and reason not to share - once the cat is out of the bag there is no putting it back. Some people like to be humiliated sexually, but if it is non-sexual humiliation then that can be very bad.
