Elegant wide leg trousers look very stylish under any kind of trench coat.

Thanks to everyone for some interesting replies.

I asked the question as I much prefer stockings/tights teamed with a pair of shiny heels 4" or higher or a pair of shiny knee length boots again with a 4"+ heel as the extra height forces the wearer to shorten their stride while also tensioning his/her calf muscles giving them much better posture and therefore showing their shiny mac of in it's full alluring splendour.

I personally do not l trousers like to see trousers worn under a shiny long Mac, although I can see that tight shiny leggings worn with a heel could look good.

Everyone has different preferences and as Hot Willy so aptly puts it (I hope I am) Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:).

I'm with you maidjenny, shiny black mackintosh and shiny black knee high boots is a sight to see.
