Oh, I would have love to have been around at that time!

I've got a collection of three complete sets of F&T waterproofs (Long zipped cagoules and overtrousers). In green, blue and red. I actually have two identical green F&T cagoules if you've got anything to swap with me? I'm always looking for overhead cags, the thicker the better.

My OH worked for F&T for many years before the Gundell family sold it to Mike Ashley who ruined it! It used to be proper techie outdoor gear not the trash it is now :(

Field & Trek

They were the technical outdoor shops across the country,
Similar to cotswold outdoors, the Gundel family that owned them jumped the gun to go online and closed stores a little too early and the market wasn’t there so they got in to difficultly and ended up selling the brand to mike ashley who asset stripped it and turned from a leading technical outdoor highs street brand to selling utter crap , he bought karrimor the years before and used F&T to shop front it as a budget brand, its now pretty much just a small shop in shop in JD sports shops.

I remember visiting the F & T Brentwood shop, and purchasing the orange greenland cagoule, which I am still the proud owner of. Its not waterproof anymore, but still gives me a tingle slipping it on occasionally.

I also remember visiting the F&T store in Brentwood many years ago, I purchased one of their cagoules. which I still have. A few years later, I got one of the cagoules from a store in Edinburgh, it closed a few years ago,
