I really like the nylon on these coats.
The long mac isn't as shiny as this.

I'm surprised at how waterproof these are. I wore the mac and pants for the first time in a deluge doing outside work and they were great.plasticpacamac wrote: October 27th, 2024, 5:48 pm I have a long heavy nylon waterproof police mackintosh that I know dates back to at least the 1970s as the friend who had it before me owned it then and indeed earlier. It has epaulette loops to hold police numerals. I often wear it in heavy rain and it is totally waterproof. Sorry I dont have the tech skills to take a photo. The makers label inside says "ScottyMac" made in Bishopbriggs Scotland
