Was a perfect rainy day today - best of times and disappointing of times. Rain was perfect for my polyurethane coated heavier coat and the temp between 10-13 Celsius made it a great day. Sad to see the others around not dressed for it. Saw some short Hunter rain boots, some glossy, saw one Ugg glossy short pair of boots, saw various Chelsey style boots, but overall a disappointment in rainwear and wellies. Let’s hope it was only unexpected rain and more coats and boots to be seen later

Yeah it is ridiculous compared to 3 years ago tall rain boots (mostly hunters) were the rage. Now shorter boots are the style i guess. Went to a festival during a very rainy weekend and most people were wearing dressy sneakers, suede shows, or even flip flops in 40 degree muddy weather. Only a small percent were dressed properly best sighting was a women wearing matte black hunter refined boots first time I saw then in real life. A couple people had cheaper Walmart rain boots 3 including the lady with the refined boots had tall wellies. Sad the state of rainwear these days.

Forgot one nice glimmer of a sighting… saw short green Hunter lace up ankle length boots with the tan colored toe. They looked like older models - not as old as Scotland models but still older in age. Good design for shorter boots.
