because whenever it says vinyl i get the impression it is pvc. it is like calling a pvc raincoat rubber.

From what I can remember from some of your previous posts you have quite a history of not getting what you thought you'd bought, this might be the problem
If I buy a Salmon sandwich I always check its DNA to make sure its not Tuna

Tuna is Salmon it comes out of cans!!

If we are talking tinned fish I actually prefer Tuna but of course I prefer Smoked Salmon with cream cheese and a small amount of caviar to finish it off when possible

We have this coat, very cheap and thin. They make it look a lot better in the video.
