rubber boots

Rubber boots or wellies to me are an integral part of rainwear wearing,just wondered how many of us wear them on bare feet????

Nope, gotta have socks on, or else my feet will start to sweat & stink up the insides of my wellies.

I consider rubber boots to be rain wear. Like you, they are a integral part of a complete set of rain gear or waterproofs to me. I have never had good results wearing rubber boots on bare feet. I got blisters from doing that before.

Rubber rainboots are far more comfortable with socks. And yes, you're absolutely correct: They ARE an absolutely integral part of rainwear. I just wonder why some people stare when I'm all kitted out for the weat weather, even though they are soaking wet?

Must say I have only just started wearing Wellies in the past month as the weather in the U.K was snow.

Always slip on a pair of wellies when washing cars, keeps my feet warm & dry.

Nice pair of green wellies, thickish socks underneath to keep my feet warm

As I could get wet I always wear my Peter Storm Nylon Waterproof Trousers as well, over my underwear - take my trousers of so not so "bulked up" :)

Must admit I have some Peter Storm overtrousers.
Will have to wear them with my wellies and get Colleen to use the video camera when we go out for a walk somewhere!
