When I started out I wasn't expecting the wind, but when I got to the carpark in the mountains I couldn't resist getting out and getting soaked - never experienced wind and rain combined like that - it pretty quickly soaked through my outer coat - great to feel it slapping around in the wind - and it did its best to rip my headscarf off, but nothing was shifting it, which is why I prefer them to just hoods anytime!
