For me it it is RUBBER pants or bloomers all the way. I have many pairs of rubber pants in varying thicknesses and colours and wear them every day and night. the feeling of waking up to rubber caressing your skin is wonderful and leads to many pleasurable moments. Try Suzi High for rubber pants although they are a mixture of silicon and rubber and feel a bit like the old Malaysian rubber of yesteryear. I have many pairs of these and love them.
Luckily they fit the wife as well and we both rustle down the road wearing our rubbers.

I am fancying the Drylife rubber’s especially the pink ones.
Plastic pants next to the skin is the only way forward. As you have found out the more you wear them the easier it is. The sweating goes away after a few weeks. Plastic pants pensioners forever

I've been wearing Gary full-cut medium plastic pants the last couple of days, and sleeping in them. It's made me remember that these were some of the first plastic panties I ever wore, and still a favorite after thirty years or so.

Well, as I mentioned, Gary plastic pants are some of my favorites; InControl Ideal Fit is a worthy competitor...these are US brands; maybe something from PVC-u-like or another UK supplier would be easier for you to lay hands on.

Reaching the age of the occasional leak/dribble has made me wonder whether one would be permitted to wear proper waterproof pants (rubber or plastic) if one had to go into some sort of care home-or would it have to be some modern form of disposable, padded protection?

Did anyone here attend the meetings of the Adult Baby Club, that met once a month in a downstairs bar of a pub in Kings Cross London, up to the time of the pandemic? On arrival you paid for a disposable diaper (tena maxi or similar) and changed in the downstairs area into this, handing your day clothes in to the reception. Many would put on plastic or rubber pants over the nappy, and dressed in just these, trainers and usually a T-shirt join others similarly dressed in a downstairs bar. There was no sex; it was purely a social event. For those into the "adult baby" scene there was a play area with toys etc but most just socialised. Use of the urinals was frowned upon, you just wet your nappy if you needed and could pay for another if it got full. Many wore plastic or rubber pants over their nappies as I did and it was so relaxing being with others of all ages similarly dressed. Sadly the event never resumed after the lockdown ended but it was fun while it lasted!

I couldn't agree more! 20 years after I was first forced to wear and inevitably to wet a Tena Maxi disposable nappy by an assertive master-type, then to add precautionary plastic pants to guard against leaks, plastic and rubber pants, now worn on their own, have become my go-to underwear and I now have very few textile underpants. I recently discovered and bought these Drylife "rubbers" in pink you refer to. The sissifying effect of the colour makes me and indeed other pensioner wearers more properly described as pensioners in plastic panties as in the title of this thread.
