Hoody kagouls. Love them!!!!
Hoody kagouls. Love them!!!!
At 70 I'm grateful that I am fit and healthy enough to enjoy life, enjoy a beer with friends, and enjoy wearing my lovely hooded rainwear, kaggies especially. I have so many. I have to say that as the years have rattled by, the materials have changed so much for the better. My early nylon ones were ok but very stiff and scritchy, with no feel or shiny look about them. In the 70's pvc came along and at least gave them a shine. In the 90's I got a couple of beautiful rubber ones from germany, very black, very gloopy, very tactile. Every time I pull them over my head, I get so turned on, the feel, the noise, and still the smell. Now we have the big puffer anoraks that are so soft, shiny and smooth. They almost eat you when pulling them on. Fantastic. I cant imagine what will follow next! There is something so sensual about an overhead, pullover kagoul. May they continue to be made and the materials improve! Love em!

Just to add, I wear mine daily. Rain or shine. This time of year the shiny puffer ones are so warm and worn by all. Not many pullover ones about though. I get mine from Sweden.

For me personally, I don't have much of a liking for the puffer jackets but cagoules are very good, wether pullover types or zip fronts. I've had a liking for cagoules from about the age of 10.

Yes and me , I’ve had the liking of cagoules and nylon rainwear since I was a teenager, the feel , noise and putting on the rainwear gives me a special tingle . Oh , and raincapes and ponchos covering my rainwear adds to the tingles

I agree with you Kaggyfan. Im a bit younger but I really do like the softer shinier materials, be it in puffer or pvc/vinyl or both!. The more mass produced nylon cagoules and packamac raincoats, in my opinion, dont have such a nice texture, therefore dont feel so sexy on. I definitely know what I would prefer my girlfriend to be wearing, especially in bed!

Love the puffer jackets. They are socially acceptable in whatever form, they look great, feel great, and dont cost a fortune. I think they are the next alternative fetish, and most wearers dont even realise it!!!!!! Im afraid gravelly nylon is a thing of the past. Bring on the new generation materials.

I love cagoules, especially the noisy crisp sounding ones from the 70’s- 80’s. The shinier the coating inside the better! Especially love peter storm, kway and regatta cags from that era. Prefer slipping an over the head one on but zip up will do. Recently really liking the pvc backed nylon ones like the TKO and weatherite etc, i find my fetiah wonders some times really cant get enough of the traditional peter storms then i am really into the 80/90’s pvc backed nylon like at the moment. It really doesn’t matter as long as its a cagoule! Being Bi i don’t care who is wearing one, as long as they are lol. Especially love the way the elastic grips the wrist or the way the hood hangs at the back. The sounds, feel, look is all part of it
Lets get swishy!

Looking around a local discount store recently Regatta seem to be selling some decent ones at the moment labelled "Outdoor Scene". The lining is shiny and the nylon itself is thin but durable. The only problem in this particular shop is that the range of sizes is very limited.

Cagoules and ponchos needed today in the south, can’t wait to get out and use them , oh and don’t forget your Wellies and overtrousers

Kahgyfan, where do you purchase your overthrhead puffy cagoules from? I love down/puffy gear at this time of year, especially with a large long shiny waterproof cagoule over the top!
