'Comrade Dad' - UK TV series that ran from 1984 to 1986. Actress in a shiny leopard-print mac in 'The Lost Domain' episode from 0-38" in until 6'-38". I think the mac is made from PVC but I'm not sure - any views/opinions, therefore, most welcome!

But what sort of material? When the light is on it it definitely looks like PVC (matt/shiny), at other times in the clip I think it does look like some sort of material. What though?

The video is a vhs copy can't make it out well can I get a clearer version anywhere?

Mm! Thanks for that Beth. Not so sure personally about that. It looks too shiny for artificial fur especially in the scenes where the light falls on the mac.

Thanks for that Regenhoedje - thinking more along the same lines as me then. Beth reckons it's artificial fur or something like that - personally I think it looks too shiny for that.

Most of the YT clips from that era are VHS rips - seems like only the more popular sitcoms got the upgrades in later years. The only way to get a better copy is to hope that the episode/episodes is/are available on DVD somewhere.bethbennett202 wrote: ↑May 17th, 2022, 12:30 pm The video is a vhs copy can't make it out well can I get a clearer version anywhere?
