What I find interesting about the images is they look like they were taken with a modern camera (2000 or so). However, the woman's hairstyle and general presentation make it clear it's the mid-20th century. I presume it's an old photo that was brushed up a bit for online presentation.

The Getty account tagged to the photos is worth a look in general - some very good old images in there.
