Topshop keep going

Post by plasphil »

I presume sales were good for the clear raincoat last year as I see Top Shop have a new plastic/pvc raincoat for this season, a sort of clear-glittery gold colour. Pleased to see a high street store is keeping the plastic theme going, at £45 maybe a little high priced?

Phil.

Yes good to see. Shame it only seemed to be stocked in its flagship stores in London. Still that's Topshop and Primark selling pvc macs and it's only Just February.

I agree that it is very encouraging to see the high street stores starting to stock plastic macs this year. Perhaps they will become available in all trendy shops, and much more importantly be seen regularly on the street. My only gripe is the ridiculous costs; £45 for a mac that, other than colour, you can buy on ebay for £10.
There is also a black longer length mac, but not to my taste. I don't like the pockets or the colour, but that is possibly just me.

Why do women insist on buying rainwear that only go down to just below butt level? When it rains their legs will get soaked, so why not wear a mac that goes down at least to calf length? I so often see girls.women walking through the rain wearing rain jackets that only reach the wait! How impractical is that in heavy rain?

Ah Priscilla, girls today only wear skirts or shorts that are the size of belts so don't need a longer mac.Lol
