hi kate.as a horse rider you really should wear a riding mackintosh. the old type double texture rubber/cotton style. I know they are old fashioned now but they are still the best macs,

i well remember those lovely gangster macs by valstar. I went out with a girl in the 1970s who had a red one, she looked fantastic in it and she wore it a lot. eventually it became rather stiff from a lot of wear and it began to fall apart and it went in the bin. shame really as you cant find them ...

i couldn't agree more with bill. I collect real vintage cotton backed pvc macs, mine are all original 60s/early 70s macs so I can certainly tell the difference. yes it bugs me when people describe macs as 60s or vintage. either they have no idea about them or just trying to fool people into paying ...
