It's been a rainy and wet week so I have been able to wear a full rainsuit out and about, great in the squally showers.I just use a Regatta (late PVC/nylon kind) with the similar or TKO trousers made as Walkabout range.

I came onto this thread late. I have a few of htese, the ones I liked best were by Gelert which have all but disappeared now, although I did get a multi coloured Gelert just this week. They do (and particulalry the Jeantex ones) delaminate with use and sometimes they discolour by wellmeaning vendors ...

It may seem strange but I was asking this question earlier this week. I buy a lot of rainwear and although the proper Pakamacs were never really my thing driectly I do buy a few just to save them from landfill. In that case usually I'll monitor the local shops to see if one which is there in good ...

they do look so much nicer on her. They were the go to for most groundworks and builders till the hi=viz revolution and I know a man who is still selling them dirt cheap. I have a box of them I got ages ago if anyone is desperate for one but they do turn up regularly in car boots usually in the bags ...

What I love about your pics is just how much fun you can see you are having. All the other pics I have seen of these are pristine! Not so Janet..... Get the hose out!

There's been qute a lot of older PVC macs appeared at dumps and charity shops here this year. Some of the ones I've got date from the 1980s and literally look like they were last worn then.

Aww there is something very charming about her. Sadly in many cases I see bags like this all the time from charity shops (the UK version of thrift stores) that have failed to sell. A lot of these are like the suit in the video brand new but donated as never used, never sold and dumped in the bin ...

Well I've always noticed that the raincoat wearers I see come from bits of Sweden and Norway and Denmark so a Scandinavian trip would probably be a good rainwear trip as of course are Scottish Islands and bits of Holland seem to get more than their fair share of rain. Wales seems mostly underwater ...
