Re: Collecting stuff to burn for our local bonfire
I get that we are all different, and quite a few members have a liking for rainwear destruction, but it is one of the few fetishes that I 100% disagree with. For me keeping PVC lovely and shiny and intact is a passion as strong as others desire to destroy.

Re: Collecting stuff to burn for our local bonfire
I remember those Dannimac coats! My god parents had them in the early 80s. I got to wear them a handful of times. I found my own in a junble sale mid 80's. It was in great condition and still had the removable hood with it. I hated the cord collar that kept your neck wet and cold and the very ...

Re: Secondhand items
It's especially worth visiting the independent charity shops as I found out. I spoke this student behind the counter and asked her if they ever get nylon cagoules or raincoats. She had literally just thrown away a long black nylon raincoat and anorak. She told me that any clothes that don't sell ...

Re: Rare Cagoule Find.
I sometimes do rubbish removals and it's quite sad how many cagoules you find. I have many of the zip up type with and without the sleeve stripes. Although I've never found a Patrick cagoule. To be fair, back in the day they were cheap and common. Wish I kept my Patrick's though.

Re: Methods of Masturbation
My best friend's mum had a long Dannimac shiny nylon raincoat. She also had a dark blue Peter Storm cagoule and matching pants. The cagoule was a long one with the velcro front flap and she would wear it when riding her moped. His sister had a blue over the head K Way which she wore as an everyday ...

Re: Shiny down jacket
Back in winter 2009, French Connection brought out a long shiny dark blue nylon down coat for men. It was styled like a parka with fur around the hood and a button over front flap. They also did a short version bomber jacket length. I bought both as I loved the shiny nylon fabric. Long down coats ...

Re: Tell me your stories of raincoats that went to the trash
It was the start of a school year and we were told to bring some old clothes in to use during art lesson. My mum gave me her long light blue nylon raincoat. I wore it during art class and spent so much time deliberately messing it up with glue and paint. It kinda started my love for nylon. Around ...
