The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Episode 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l9Cq99DfCM From 4 minutes the teacher wears a blue plastic mack for the whole school trip and never takes it off. Difficult to tell, it the weather doesn’t look right for a raincoat, which makes it all the more wonderful! Th...

Re: Diana Ross in Mugler vinyl trousers
Very lice but I fail to see why a lovely pair of clearly waterproof leggings like that should be relegated to the “off topic” section and not have pride of place on the videos page. Certainly good for rainwear if I had anything to do about classifying fashion for the masses.

Re: What is something you didn’t think you would like until you tried it? What is something you always wanted to try?
Many years ago we went camping. I woke early(ish) and decided to go for a shower, which was a few minutes walk. It was warm, but with a breeze. I popped on my swimming trunks, cagoule and sandles but nothing else, then trooped off across the site with a towel around my neck. It was a lovely feeling,...

Other people can help more than me, but in a nutshell… Upload your pictures to a picture sharing site like imgur. Most of them give you link to the picture that you can copy and paste into a post in this site, then the image is displayed on the Rainwearcentral posting, but is not really there, it is...

Re: PVC Shorts
Plasticky (or plasticy) is definitely a word in my vocabulary. For me the term relates to smell, feel and look of a material - the more plasticky on all three counts the better!

These are the only ones I found at New Look, at about that price, but not very shiny.

Rainwear Batallion
Non-explicit, fun and a bit weird with some naughty references. “Look here ladies, this is just not good enough! Each year conversions have been reducing on average 5%, and during this hot weather we expect to see a big drop. You need to get out there and sell yourselves!” The old battered yellow oi...

Nylon Blouson Jacket
I’ve seen the Trivago advert a few times and there is a fleeting view of Ana wearing a pale blue nylon blouson jacket. This is the kind of jacket that girls used to wear in my school in the 1970’s and I thought they were totally adorable. The advert is here but you have to pause it right near the be...

Lost Property -Found!
Romantic, lots of rainwear, not explicit. Sophie sat on the floor of the warehouse. She giggled as she pulled on the navy blue nylon over trousers to match the over-the-head cagoule. Her own shiny black PVC raincoat, the one with the red piping, hung on the end of the rainwear rail. I flipped throug...

Re: Lost Property
Alas no, I just picked a town out of my head that I knew had a station.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words, there is a sequel in the making.
