Rainmac
I just thought some members might be interested to know that 'Rainmac' in Midhurst is up for sale, that is the business. If you go into their website and look into corporate. I understand that their macs are not everyones cup of tea but it is I guess the last remaining shop selling their own brand ...

Re: The new red nylon cape
What a wonderful cape. I assume it is from Rainmac as I have one red and a navy one from there, I also have a full length red mac which I wear out quite a bit. I haven't ventured out yet in the red cape but I intend to give it a go soon. I think everyone should visit the Rainmac shop its the only ...

Back to Rainmac
I posted a few days ago about the new range of capes that Rainmac are selling. Well as I said I fancied a red cape so off I went on Tuesday to Midhurst. The sales lady as before was helpful and friendly. I tried on a red cape and a leopard print one and they were gorgeous. I bought the red one. I ...

Rainmac
You may remember that I have mentioned several times how wonderful I find Rainmac in Midhurst in West Sussex are. I say this in both their lovely product range and also the fact that they are great to deal with. I was checking out their website www.rainmac.com the other day and noticed they have ...

Nylon macs
Hi All
As a lover of nylon macs and mostly hooded ones, I sometimes feel rather alone. It seems that most members are into PVC and SBR. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with either but just a preferance for the rustle and soft feel of nylon. It is sad that apart from I think Rainmac nylon macs ...

Re: New Retro Mac
Hi All
Go for it outdoors, you obviously get pleasure wearing it indoors so why not double it outside. Nobody really cares, women have been liberated now its the turn of the male. What is termed as female clothing is for everybody, how often do you see women wearing mens clothes, everyday. Macs are ...

Re: New Retro Mac
Hi PVC Lover
My view would be if you have a mac you like wearing then wear it whenever you feel inclined to, be it indoors or out. Certainly if its raining then wear it outdoors. Its a mac, your mac, and you are a gentleman not a lady, its not crossdressing as Merv suggests.

nylon macs
I have been watching this forum as well as contributing occasionally for some time now and get the decided impression that I must be one of the few nylon raincoat lovers here. Like most rainwear they are increasingly hard to come by and I think as mentioned before Rainmac in Sussex are about the ...

Re: I just bought a Rainmac
Rainmac is a great store. The staff are so helpful. I have five of their nylon macs including two long red ones. I always try on and there is never a problem. I have even worn a red mac when I visited the shop when it was raining.

The unexpected
I haven't posted on this forum for some time but I have to tell someone about this morning when I walked the dog. I live in a small Cambridgeshire village and it was my turn to walk the dog, my wife was getting ready to go out shoping and I was to dive her. I waited till it was starting to get light ...
