Yet it is still true.
Unfortunately it has rained very few here in the Western part of The Netherlands.
Next week we go to Suoth Germany ,my wife and me, I hope it will rain some days , my wife doesn't.

Yes !
I have done nearly the same some years ago in South Germany ,in Oberstdorf in a holyday.
There is a waterfall in a small brook , called Faltenbach .
When it had rained much I went to that waterfall in a cape , boots and raintrousers to look how big it was. You could approach it in 5 meters ...

In Germany there is Funplastic.
Look there , perhaps you can buy Plagum or Gumpla ,that's PVC mixed with rubber.
They sell perhaps material..

Hi,
Since that holiday in Germany , some years ago, I have walked more and more iin rainwear in public , (as it rains of course.)
Now I have a Plagumcape from Fun Plastic ,Germany.The Plagum is 0,28 mm thick and the cape weights 1,5 kg ,so about 3 pounds.
(Plagum or Gumla is a mixture of plastic ...

Hi Cirevinyl,

Which brand of rubber boots do you wear ?
A year ago I had Hunter boots ,but the heels were quickly (After one year=about 12 walkings ) worn, so I could see the holes in it, which were filled by small stones...
It was told to me that Hunters are made to walk on sand not hard street ...

HI,
Here in the western part of the Netherlands we have a rainshortage of 200 mm.
We had only some mm"s last weeks.
Perhaps at the end of the week some rain ??
I have forgotten what rain is nearly. :(

Hi All,
Tomorrow we (Me and my wife ) go to a Bavarian village for 3 weeks (Oberstdorf ).
It will rain a little there sometimes,I expect.
I have taken with me a PVC U Like poncho and a PVC raincoat, PA3...(Shiny Green)
I believe the tourists there are not acqustomed to PVC rainwear ,most of them ...

Today it rained the whole morning and a part of the afternoon.
Because my wife didn't want to go out for shopping in the rain .I "offered" myself to go out and do some shopping for her in two shops.
