You get what you pay for. The harsh reality is you either pay a reasonable sum for quality or get the cheap ones that you don't want.

Re: pvc u like
If you ask they will put the snaps on the male side on the hooded raincoats they produce in this country. I have several in different colours and very good they are too.

Re: Just get on with making REAL raincoats :-(
A bargain at only 340 of those British pounds. Be careful not to get trampled in the rush to buy them.

Re: Rain in the UK
Don't be shy wearing your raincoat out in the rain. I usually wear either my black or clear pvc-u-like ones if I need to go out. I have had a few envious comments, especially from an unfortunate couple who were about to enjoy an hour long bus journey in soaked clothes while I just took off my ...

Re: Rain in the UK
Actually rained here in the east of England for the first time since before Easter. As I had a book to return to a customer I could either get a courier to collect or walk the five minutes to the post office. Seemed a good opportunity to test my pvc-u-like black raincoat.

Re: Look & sizing of PUL raincoats/macs
If I may add here. The size guide on the PUL website is pretty accurate.
Those macs are quite long. I am 6'2 and mine come down well past the knee. They would be close to shin length on you but that is no bad thing (maybe).
As for fit I prefer to have the RA02 UK made as PUL will put the snaps on ...

Re: Ebay find
The raincoat arrived very quickly and it's really decent quality. Well worth the money.
Ebay find
Came across this on Ebay. I offered £15 (cheeky I know) but seller counter-offered £17.26. There are still 6 availsble apparently. Good value at full price but make an offer as seller accepts less.

What are you doing in it? With normal wear it should last years.
