Drop pvc-u-like an email. They are brilliantly helpful. I recently saw material which was no longer commercially available but they still had a small amount and were happy to make me a raincoat with it.

I fear that most views are like mine. Wanted to see what was being said but unfortunately can't help. I appreciate it's frustrating but getting dozens of 'sorry haven't a clue' probably wouldn't be much good either.

I don't. I am in London this weekend where it is really warm. Almost everybody is walking around in t shirts and shorts and that is plenty. No danger of any rain so the rainwear stays home.

I suppose alot of it is down to lifestyle. With most people owning cars it's a dash to the car direct to where people are going. The shopping mall is undercover. There is less need to be outside on a wet day. An umbrella generally suffices for the quick dash from car to door.

Was grateful for the hood on my PUL raincoat. The rain in Scotland is something else.

You missed out there. Somebody was selling some on ebay recently at reasonable prices. I ended up buying 3 of them knowing future chances would be few and far between.
