Excellent find Beth. The last clip is my favourite because the woman is wearing her raincoat throughout all the time that she and her partner are on the show, but she reallly only needed to wear it in the face gunging scene layer on. Her partner only wore the plastic suit for his messy part. I wonder if she decided to put the mac on early or if it was the producers.

Reminds me of a UK TV children’s show in the 90’s (I think) where they had regular gunging challenges and the gorgeous female presenter wore a black PVC suit for that section. If I recall it was stylish with zips and a belted waist and made of a matte material like AGU rainwear. I think her name was Sally.

PVC suit sounds fun. Tiswas maybe... Sally James and Chris Tarrant, but that show finished in the early 80's I think.

No it wasn’t that. I might have been wrong about the name Sally, but I think she had short black hair. It was a bit like Tiswas in having a loose repeated weekly format, one item of which was a messy mini game which required the presenter to wear PVC even though she wasn’t actually gunged!
