1980s Replica Jelly Jacket

Replica 1980s-style Jelly Jacket, with chunky white rope.

Satisfyingly noisy, strongly blocking (or 'sticky') PVC, soft glossy glass clear, blue.

Real (actual) PVC is far superior, more satisfying in a sensory sense, and far more durable compared to the EVA festival macs sold by ASOS, Debenhams, etc.

(EVA, being far less durable than PVC, forms permanent scratch marks, and over time there's so much of these scratches that the EVA takes on a hazy or cloudy appearance).

Cheers, and that sounds nice!

I do vaguely remember the 'originals', as I was at primary school in the 1980s, and I remember some of the other pupils wearing them. In the 1980s they were commonly sold by market stalls and small family-owned clothing shops, although I have been told that C&A and some catalogue stores (Avon, Kays, Littlewoods, etc, also sold them.

My mother promised to get me one, but nothing came of it.
