Ok, this is not rainwear but close to and the same materials, nylon and polyester.

Because people thinks its a little bit odd to be dressed in rainwear on a sunny day, I have extended my passion a little bit.

I often have nylon track suites or/and windbreakers on when walking, both in the forrest and on our streets. So soft and swischy, but they don’t keep me dry for a minute if the rain sets in.
And no one think its strange or odd!
Both my wife and our neighbour wife walks in such cloathes and I love when we all walk together, three swischy people walking. Love to see them moving in their shiny outfits. My neighbour wife have such a lovely little jacket, shiny black and white Nike with Just do it printed on it.
Sorry to say, her husband seldom use shiny cloathes, only down jackets when it’s season.

Do you use shiny nylon/polyester track suites or windbreakers to be able to walk in public?
Just to avoid to look odd in peoples eys.

Love to put on my shiny nylon shorts and then a track suite and/or windbreaker made of nylon and then just walk.

I’m sure you have posted this exact question before, because I remember several people trying to correct your spelling. It is suit not suite. Suite is either a set of furniture as in “three piece suite” or a multiple room accommodation in a hotel as in “I booked the most expensive suite”.

To answer the question, nylon is nice and I do have cagoules, but it’s the shiny lining that I like most.

Have to blame it on my memorie. But still I think it’s nice way to wear nylon outfits whatever the weather is and it doesn’t look too strange. And I really like women in nylon windbreakers and track suits

Totally understand that many members are not native English speakers. Thanks for appreciating that I am just trying to help. When I was at school there was a fashion for nylon jackets - these were not cagoules but a normal jacket that happened to be made of nylon. Loved the look and a woman in nylon always turns the head.

Have the same experience, there was a lot of ordinary nylon jackets at school, it was called wetnylon. They where so shiny and soft and when we played Hunt and catch, I loved to catch girls when they were dressed in their shiny jackets. We were teenagers and really loved to catch each other, often the first bodycontact with the opposit sex.
My best friend Lena had a so lovely black, shiny nylon jacket. Loved to hug her and feel her body in that jacket.

Happy memories!!!! At school, early 60's we used to play "kiss chase"! Which involved girls chasing boys and vica versa. In those days we were all wearing the diamond quilted hooded anoraks which were quite a shiny and smooth soft nylon with tie toggles around the edges of the hoods and bottom hem with elasticated cuffs. Even then I had found a "fascination and feeling" about the wearing and touching of them. It was wonderful to get caught or catch, because then you had to have your hood tied up, to then be cuddled and kissed by the catcher! Really nice if you fancied the persuee! Kim Topley, my childhood sweetheart! Wonder what she is doing now 60+ years on!

That’s interesting. At school I knew the difference between normal dull nylon (just the slightest hint of shine) and the fashion jackets that were very shiny, but never heard the term wetnylon, but that makes a lot of sense. My favourites were the very dark navy blue because I never saw black, but also navy or royal blue jackets with white nylon sleeves that were transparent - so lovely! I guess they were styled on American sports jackets that were leather but cheaper. Every now and again you came across. Super shiny jacket that looked like nylon, but when you touched it you realised it was cotton (I think they called it chintz), they were such a disappointment but also made no lovely zippy sound that nylon did.

Looks like you were playing a similar game, hunting and catching each other. When we were playing Hunt and Catch, we wasn’t supposed to kiss and never did. Ok, if it was your sweetheart it happened. But the catcher was supposed to get the caught one down on the ground, so a little wrestling took place. So exciting to wrestling with the girls when we both was wearing our nylon jackets, and often when it was cold weather also our nylon ski pants. We were 12-14 years old and boys and girls were so interested in the opposit sex. So the wrestling was an excellent opportunitie to feel and cuddle with a girl, and I really loved the feeling of a girl in nylon jacket. If a girl had caught you, it was just to surrender with her on top of you. Loved those times
