Central Storage location for pics / Video's?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking about experimenting with setting up a shared rainwear photo/video library where people could upload and browse rainwear content.
The idea would be a central shared space where people can upload photos or videos of their rainwear, and everyone with the link can also browse what others have shared. Ideally it could grow into a bit of a community gallery/archive for inspiration, outfits, vintage pieces, unusual finds, etc.
My setup is a self-hosted Nextcloud server behind Cloudflare, so I can generate a shared link that allows uploads and viewing without needing accounts.
I’m also considering leaving the link open, not just restricted to forum members. There are probably quite a few people interested in rainwear who prefer to stay anonymous and might not want to sign up to forums, so this could give them a way to contribute too.
To avoid accidents, the shared folder would be upload-only, meaning people can add files but won’t be able to delete or modify other people’s uploads.
Uploads would initially go into a review folder, and I would move suitable files into the main library when I get time so things stay organised and spam/unrelated content doesn’t appear in the gallery.
Something like this structure for example (open to suggestions):
Rainwear Library
│
├── Upload Here
│
├── PVC
├── PU / Polyurethane
├── Rainwear Outfits
├── Vintage Rainwear
├── Brands / Finds
│
└── Adult / Explicit Rainwear (18+)
The upload folder would probably replicate the above structure so the community could help me sort into categories too, then I can just copy and paste them across?
I’m also open to explicit rainwear content being shared if people want to contribute it, but it would likely be kept in a separate 18+ section so people can choose whether or not to view that content, again open to suggestions here to confirm if you feel this is needed or not?
The aim would mainly be a community sharing space rather than a permanent archive. I do run backups, but it wouldn’t be something people should rely on long-term.
Also just to mention — I work full time and spend a lot of time with family, so while I’ll try to keep things organised and running smoothly I may not always be the fastest at reviewing uploads or making changes.
Before I spend time building it, I’d be interested to hear what people think:
• Would something like this be useful?
• Would people prefer photos only, or photos and videos?
• Any privacy or moderation considerations I should think about?
• Would an open link work well, or would people prefer it limited to forum members?
Interested to hear people’s thoughts. Unsure myself on how big/small this type of project would be......
