Cross chanenel catamaran in about the early-mid 2000s

Back in the early to mid 2000s (2000 - 2006) I was living in Belgium and would often travel back to the UK by the catamaran service that used to run between Ostende and Dover.
I can't now remember which company ran it, but what I do remember is the that the hostesses both aboard and at Ostend all used to wear a sort of cloak that looked very much like it was rubberised; they were navy blue if I recall correctly. As rubberised rainwear is very much my thing, I definitely took notice but I never got close enough to anyone wearing one to determine if they really were rubber or something else, but they certainly had the liquid drape of a rubberised fabric. Only the smell of rubber would have given it away but that would have meant getting very close indeed!
Does anyone else remember those rubber cloaks or even wore one as part of the crew. I wonder if any of them survived. If they really were rubber, I'd love to acquire one!
