Today I went grocery shopping in this style of jeans with a nice rustly "plastic" p-anty underneath:
https://www.koton.com/koton-x-sima-tark ... o-4050739/

I quite like the fact that they look unusual and that they also remind me of popper style plastic panties. While I was walking the aisles - listening to the faint rustling underneath - I suddenky felt the urge to own a pair of "sailor jeans" like that made of the same type of fabric like the plastic panty I was wearing underneath. Or what if I had six pairs of these ?
White, blue and black and each colour in matte and shiny vinyl. All of them soft, sweaty, squeaky and rustly ?
I now feel the urge to go to a tailor and have at least one pair made because I don't think that something like this will ever be available.

It is not the first time that I fantasize that some particular item should be available in "plastic".
As a teen I always dreamt of jeans with a plastic coating. Back then I thought that this will never be reality. But now you can have them in shiny vinyl and also in matte plastic coated fabrics. The latter is widely available during the cold season and also I own several pairs that I frequently wear in winter even for office.
The other one I fantasized about for a very long time were plastic panties made from PVC coated cotton intended to be worn with the plastic outside. In the meantime we frequently use such panties. The first one was made from an old pair of Rukka rain pants. At first I felt very sorry for them and did greatly regret to suggest the old and rare Rukkas for this because they were really intended to be used what also ordinary plastic panties are used for. In the meantime we have used up dozens of these with success. The wearers are very satisfied with these. But I still feel very sorry for each one that is put on and wetted for the first time.
And guess what ? In the meantime you can also have panties like that from well known manufacturers ! Mabe they are copying me ...... ;)

Does anybody else have a fantasy about a non rainwear garment that should be available in rainwear material ?

Doesn't matter if it is pure rubber or plastic or any kind of coated fabric. Could be anything from underwear to outerwear. Anything from informal or workwear to evening wear.

Hi. This is a great question. For me I would love some pants and a t shirt or a sort of onese made out of really noisy lightweight neoprene coated nylon. Imagine wearing these under normal clothes out shopping. The feeling of the super smooth cool rubber coated fabric on skin would be intense. I might take a pair of scissors to an old lightweight Henri lloyd hiking Mack when I get home.

I guess you mean in a stiffer shiny material than the usual shiny vinyl used for dresses, tops, jeans and underwear etc. Because long dresses and skirts are definitely available in softer shiny vinyl fabric.
But a nice looking dress is definitely one of the coolest garments that can be made out of this kind of material. I like the simpler the better like a classic vest dress for instance. Or one with long sleeves because that adds to the rustling....

I'm just happy to go out in a long PVC mac. Until a few years ago I would have been far too self conscious to wear one out in public.

I can remember a newspaper article where they showed several shiny garments that were ment to be worn as both - rainwear and chic streetwear.
One was called "raindress" and was basically a shiny vinyl raincoat with sleeves that could be unzipped. Without sleeves it looked like a belted shirt dress in shiny vinyl.

The German label Lackina makes a coat that can be unzipped in the middle and then you get a long skirt and a short trench jacket:

They also offer this long slim tailored trench coat in several colours. It is quite tempting to take one of these and shorten the sleeves such that it can be worn as a dress. I am convinced that it would look cool.

A classic Burberry in shiny fabric would also make for a nice dress with shortened sleeves.
