Live and dance in the 30th century

Any years ago, a friend told me how he came into PVC:
He watched on TV a performance that was called "live and dance in the 30th century" and was shown by a broadcast station in New York.
All actors where covered in clear PVC-Fashion. So he was turned on for plastik...
I try to find a copy of this show and asked every places for, but never find it.
May be anyone here knows details about this production and can help to find more about it.
