I am sure that in my case it came from my betwetting and I even have some recollections.
I can clearly remember the rustling of the panties when a wetted and smelly one was removed including the noise of the poppers. After the diapers had been changed a fresh plastic panty was taken from the drawer and again made to rustle first by unfoldung and then by placing it around my crotch area, followed by the noise causd by the stretching of the elastic seams when the sides were pulled for being closed. The noise of the closing snaps would sign the end of the process.
Well almost: Sometimes the waist snaps were opened again to check whether the tighter position would be better, which led again to some rustling and klicking noise.
I loved wearing them and at the same time I felt bad because I knew that they suffered each time from the inevitable that was going to happen.
I also loved seeing women wearing shiny coats and jackets when I was a kid.

We had better be careful as the rainwear police might clap us in irons for going off topic to bedwetting and plastic pants. Hopefully the rainwear police will be a pair of lovely ladies in plastic macs who force us to strip naked and put plastic macs on us, ideally with a side order of lovely super clear plastic pants. I have never been instructed to wear rainwear by a woman and am sure I would love it!

Very evocative. Substitute pull-on pants at half mast around the knees and that's just about me. Plus the odd smacked bottom halfway through if I'd chosen a particularly bad time to start crying e.g te early hours of the morning.

i'm always eager enough to be wearing plastic that I haven't often thought about being made to do so by anyone else...but come to think of it I've written a story about exactly that.
