I was five. 1959. I came home from school wearing a gaberdine style raincoat one day. It had been raining but when I got home it was warm. I had to take my raincoat to the bedroom. I took it off and noticed it smelled sooo nice. I sat on a chair and started sniffing. I couldn’t stop. It wanted me to smell it all over. I did.

Yes. My grandmother was bossy and made sure that I put on my wellingtons and waterproofs to be prepared for the rain and wind. It began gor me with the secy satin linings of my brothers cotton raincoats, and seeing other guys wearing similar. Also soft black leather gear

Mine must have started when I saw fellow classmates at school wear the PVC jelly jackets, which came in glass clear, glass clear blue, glass clear red and glass clear green. These jelly jackets were quite different from the usual cottons, polyesters and nylons.

The jelly jackets were colourful and see-through. One of the girls who fancied me put her arm around me while she was wearing a glass clear red jelly jacket. I loved the cool sensation of the PVC against my neck, in addition to the rustling noise the material made.

My sister had a shiny turquoise blue 'Donald Duck' cartoon character PVC raincoat. It felt so soft and rubbery, and I loved trying it on. She never seemed to mind.

The dinner ladies at school wore aprons, which, I am sure, were made from shiny white PVC (as opposed to, say, polythene). The rustling noise these aprons made as the dinner ladies were wiping down the dining tables caught my attention, for reasons unknown to me.

Once I hit puberty, my 'interest' in shiny and glass clear PVC raincoats and other articles made from the same flexible PVC materials, such as glass clear shower curtains and shiny or clear inflatables, morphed into a sexual fetish.

Probably very early.
In first grade of elementary school.
There was a teacher there who, when I was in that class, wore a long polyurethane raincoat.
I was still too young to understand it, but she gave me a very familiar feeling. Even though she lives in the same village as me.
But in the classroom, I noticed she often put her raincoat on my desk. At first, I didn't understand why, but the more she put her coat on my desk, the more I, or this teacher, cared.
She often made me take her coat to the staffroom. I don't know why, but I do know that I didn't do it reluctantly. She often let me take her coat to the teachers' lounge. I don't know why, but I do know I didn't find it objectionable.
