At Last some fab rain in the East Midlands this morning.
The nearest mac was my Totes long nylon hooded in petrol blue. I was in boy mode but did put on a skater skirt under my coat.
The mac used to be shower proof but now I felt the rain filtering through and wetting my sholders. My head was the only dry part as I put on a plastic rain hat (spotted ) under the coats hood.My Totes macs are past their best but still swishy. I only passed two ladies also wet as wearing just light weight jackets. I said good morning to which the older lady said I like your raincoat and then my mac blew open reveling my pleated skirt, by now also wet. Both women obviously caught a glimpse as they looked at each other and hurried off.
This afternoon I plan on wearing my rather elderly Canda (C&A)red buttoned through and hooded mac which last time I wore it it was waterproof for a while at least. Happy macking to one and all.
