'C & A' and 'Go' plastic macs

Post by plasphil »

Just testing out uploading pictures.

This is a girlfriend of mine back in the early eighties, happy days. Although rainwear did nothing for her she was very understanding and today we are still very good friends. The blue plastic mac was one of C & A's finest and I still have it. The brown one was from a company called 'Go', they used to sell them in many stores that sold travelling accessories and I wish I still had it.

Apologies for the footwear!

Phil.

I can confirm for the Go's rainwear. I still have two of them. One in nice condition but sadly the second one a bit torn under the arms. But the feeling of this rainwear directly on the skin is nice

She's a "good sport" to wear them for you
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)

Fantastic pics and thanks. I have one of the Go raincoats as well, fortunately in good shape. Something about the crackly material they were made of and the elasticated wrists created a real feeling of "protection"

I bought my girlfriend at the time a similar mac from C&A in 1979
Very sexy it was to just like this one!
