Interesting to see that they now offer a range of "shinies" which they didn't until recently. I think Burberry also called their similar range "lacquered". I wonder whether this is to combat any negative vibes that may be associated in the high fashion world with the terms PVC/PU? But then I had a somewhat tetchy Twitter exchange with a Frenchman who insisted that PVC raincoats had to be described as "waxed" and took umbrage when I explained that in UK that term was usually used to describe traditional Barbours. À chacun son goût.
