Some of the SBR, gummi, or Klepper items bear some totally ridiculous prices.

A raincoat is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it, you know what they say about fools and their money...

Sometimes you pay a rarity premium on rainwear like a good Kleppermantel, a shiny rukka raincoat, or vintage HH gear. The item listed on eBay doesn't meet the rarity premium or any other measure that would warrant a high price, not by a long shot LOL!

amazing what happens with a bidding wart, have no issue with people bidding what they feel they want to pay for something. My gripe is the buy it now stuff that asks crazy money, and then stays unsold for months while somebody is convinced they have something of high value

In the first example, there is one bidder who placed multiple biddings in a sequence. Possibility No1 is he made a mistake or he really wants the coat.

The second item, well if the seller gets the starting price ok. As it is a Rimo you could say that is handmade and i think the camouflage is very unique. Maybe he gets the money he wants or he reduces the price until some is willing to pay it.

Third example

Correct me if i am wrong but isn't this a standard PUL cape?

I can understand a rukka selling for about 150 (if in good condition). a wipette or slippery when wet going over 100 is way too much. I learned the hard way when I bought a yellow one for over 230. this is why I hate bid wars. also sometimes schills might be involved.
