I much prefer plastic rain bonnet. Love hearing the rain on my head and the feeling of it tied under my chin.

I agree totally a sou'wester will not come off your head if it has a good chin strap!

My partner recently lent me a lovely retro snap fastening rainbonnet to ward off the rain! It worked and I loved it. Had to give her it back.mawww?
