If you get one of those where would you intend to wear it?

Yep, I'd love to spend that much on a coat after the rest of the world had tried it on

Maybe they have 'special' stock set aside for people to get hot and sweaty in

He can sit and watch me get fitted for my plastic raincoat but I will want to be measured first so I get a perfect fit in either the blue , white or pink but I am not sure if I want the raincoat to fit over an existing trenchcoat that I will wear to Burberry. As much as I would love to be fitted for one of their tradional trenchcoats , I dont want to waste the chance of buying one of the plastic raincoats but cant decide which one of the three in the links below . Highly likely it will be the pink one but I like the idea of leg straps that come in the white raincoat but fear it may be too long for me .

I see in mens' trench coats they also have a laminated cotton Novacheck plaid trench, a laminated wool tartan plaid trench, and a clear plastic trench. These coats all look amazing, but there's no way I can afford to spend nearly double my house payment for a single raincoat.

Jodie, I also live in west london ..maybe we should meet up with your husband for a drink one evening in one of the many pubs in the area, at least we'd recognise each other if your husband wears his new PVC trench and I'll wear one of my Burberry macs? Tim

I agree totally!
In the United Kingdom the price is £999!
If I wanted a glass clear PVC Trench coat I would get one from PVC-U-LIKE. (At a 20th of that price)

Passed by Burberry's Regent Street Store yesterday and these raincoats featured prominently in the window display. If "upmarket" retailers are going heavily into such lines for 2018 perhaps some of the more mid-lower range high street brands will do the same.
