When it comes to viewing and enjoying vintage rainwear on the cinema and on tv, then the 'goldmine' for this has to be on Utube.
The person who has contributed so much has to be Mister Macrain

They are all short clips, but 'wow' there are some wonderful vintage and continental film clips.
Watch it and enjoy..........and you don't need to 'log in' to see them.
If you have a 'smart' tv, then view it on the big screen.

Some great clips here. Was enthralled by the one entitled Schoolgirls. Dressed very sensibly in capes and school uniform... caught smoking....and then led into a room. Was it a dramatised documentary?
My German is a little rusty... anyone able to help?

Judging by the demeanour and expressions of those in authority, whatever was said probably didn't include the time-honoured, "This is going to hurt us more than it hurts you."

Yes indeed. Maybe they were to be punished for not wearing their capes at all times?!WealdenMac wrote: ↑March 29th, 2019, 3:23 pmJudging by the demeanour and expressions of those in authority, whatever was said probably didn't include the time-honoured, "This is going to hurt us more than it hurts you."
