Endeavour

Wow, tonights episode started with a circle of girls dancing in short plastic macs. Catch it on ITV hub if you can.

Well spotted. Given that it is set in the 1960's, Endeavour has been a bit of a disappointment on the mac front to date but yesterday's episode was a good, if brief, change from the norm.

No such luck with Endeavour last night, nor with Call The Midwife despite it opening in a deluge. The latter did, however, feature one of the prettiest young midwives sourcing oversized plastic pants for a timid six year old with a bedwetting problem.

Don't know if it constitutes karma but they have now killed off that particularly nice young midwife. But there was at long last the glimpse of a short plastic mackintosh on one of the expectant mothers. Despite Endeavour having moved on the mid-late '60's still no PVC, although there was a little "something else" for people who like sort of thing.
