I bought one identical for about 12 pounds a couple of months ago from an army surplus shop, they seem to have sold out though, I am intrigued as to whether anyone will think it worth paying what is now being asked

Its nice, but I don't think many will pay that price. That seller seems to have alot of nice items at somewhat reasonable prices, and others are a bit too high. The black pvc catsuits, Hot Topic (US store) sells those during Halloween for about $50 (35 pound?) or so, the sizes they have are for teens/young adults though so the sizes are often quite small.
