Image resizer

Post by RainyDee »

Hi Paul,

After trying several times to upload an avatar picture, I was finally put off, as I'm sure others will be, by the thought of having to manually resize a photo, check the file size, upload it to a 3rd party site, then link to it from here. Does your site building software have the option to uplaod and auto resize images directly from a pc? Just a thought.

I did think of allowing file uploads but I am afraid of running out of server space to soon. If you have an avatar you want hosted here let me know and I will upload it for you and give you the URL for it.

You could use a free programme called photofiltre
It is an editing programe and includes an image resizer.

it works ok just have to experiment as to what size image comes out.
