It would appear the Melbourne Cup race day seems to get more than it's fair share of rain, luckily for us! If you Google images - "Melbourne Cup rain" over the last 24 hours, there are a large number of images of race goers in rainwear. Some took the trouble to buy the current trend of glass clear plastic raincoats but most seem to go for the throw away ponchos. Hopefully more pictures and videos will appear shortly.
