I just ordered an AJ drainage coverall in opalo. does anyone have any experience with it or the material texture?

Opalo is 700gsm and heavy in weight.

Wind and waterproof.
Not breathable

It depends on how excited you are at the time, or as in my case how old you are :D

The Opalo material is kind of stiff, but flexible. It makes a wonderful squeaking/crackling sound when you move around in it. And it's wonderfully smooth and shiny.

The Opalo fabric is 700g PVC - so quite thick. It is lovely and shiny and soft. The NG Black Rubber is 1000g PVC - so almost half as thick again as Opalo. This is just as shiny and soft to the touch but much thicker.

I guess it all comes down to what kind of thickness you like on items.
