Did anybody else enjoy today's rain in the South ?

I went for a walk in my local park, duly dressed in my black PVC trenchcoat with matching trousers and my Hunters. There were only a few dog walkers around who were certainly not appropriately dressed for the weather.

Been in my orange pentland cag and over trousers, hood pulled tight. Mmmmm!!

I absolutely loved the rain yesterday. In London all day, it was relentless. Everywhere you turned there was another delightful anorak (Peter Storm style) being worn. Not very many over the head styles which was a shame. It kept me more than happy all day. And the best bit was getting my wife into bed in just her clear plastic festival style raincoat and good....
