Way back, these boots were available on some pseudo-porn sites. Then, the rubber was black but they also had white heels.

They look good to me though.

I have a pair of Manhattans. Marco can't keep his hands of me when I wear them

OMG! Thick rubbery boots and what seems to me the reversible pvc raincoat. I'm so in love with these two. I would love to have a setup like that to wear in bed.

I can't blame him. I would be exactly the same.

A couple of questions for those of you who own a pair:

1. Do they seem durable enough for at least occasional use as practical raingear?
2. Can the outersoles and heels be replaced when they wear out?

I would LOVE to get my wife a pair for her birthday, but raingear that won't keep out the rain (or hail, or whatever is falling from the sky) is a big turn-off for both of us.
