Hunter Boots China vs. Scotland

In terms of their texture, how different were the Scotland made Hunter Boots from the China made brand? I have two pairs of Hunter Gloss Boots, one in teal and the other in yellow and the rubber feels softer on the teal ones. The yellow ones I have are very stiff in comparison and were like the navy blue pair I used to have, but found them to be defective so I had them replaced.
