PUL rain suit zipper repair

The clear plastic seal on my zipper ripped when I was pulling on the bottom cords. How can I fix the zipper?

haven't found a way as of yet to fix the zipper on my coat either or the gaping tear in the pants by the crotch seem.
Love the suit just wish it was a little bit more durable but for the material that we love I guess we cannot expect it to last over a year.
Mine let go in about seven months of periodic use walking in the rainstorms here in Green Bay WI USA.
Saving up money to order another set.

Yes, same problem as with the clear pvc umbrellas: They also rip (often the tiles that hold the canopy on the mechanic (i do not know how they are called, whether in german nor in english) rip off from the canopy. I fixed this with clear package tied tape in the past. this i not really ideal, sure. For the zipper of the jacket i have no idea how to fix. maybe you can try to glue it but i suspect it will not last.

I only had it for about a month. Perhaps I should go for the one piece suit next.
