Two points of interest for you all as seen on tv recently
Ad for Rimmell London (cosmetics): The camers zooms into a flat where a girl is putting on her make up, which is quickly followed by three girls leaving their respective flats and walking down the road wearing their trenchcoats. 'Get the London Look' is their strap-line
Watched a film on film4 recently -'A Good Year' starring Russell Crowe. He plays an arrogant city yuppie type who inherits a vineyard in France. As the film progresses he mellows, falls in love with a local girl and lives happily ever after. But, there is a scene where he is on the phone to his PA in London, she is walking down the road fully buttoned and belted in an immaculate and stylish trenchcoat, the scene lasts several minutes. In this film it is always grey and wet in London and sunny in France
So this confirms my look this spring is the trenchcoat!
