Re: Any shops like South Bucks Rainwear Company exist now.

South Bucks Rainwear may have closed down. But I believe that they now have a web based business in Cornwall.

Try this link.

Re: HELP!?

How are Stutterheim raincoats for size.
I have a 46 inch chest and need 26 inches between armpits.
So will their XL be big enough for me.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Re: C&A stores in UK in the 60s to 80s

Croydon C&A and Debenhams in the 70s. I to had a white rubber on blue cotton reversible mac form C&A. Also Debenhams always had a good supply of PVC macs. Another good shop was Allders, which also had larger sizes, but a more up market price.
Oh how times have changed.

There are a couple of Gekko SBR Macks for sale on the website.
To small for me. But may be a fine fit for someone less bulky than myself.

Re: Stutterheim Opal Raincoat

Yes there is. I looked at an Opal jacket 2 years ago at £200.
I just could not bring myself to buy it.
No doubt when they have a sale it will drop down to £400.

Stutterheim Opal Raincoat

https://stutterheim.com/uk/new-arrivals/long-coat-140-opal-black For the third season, Stutterheim team up with Italian luxury brand Marni – this time on two bold men’s raincoat styles. The BIG problem has to be the £670 price tag. I find so hard to believe the price is higher than Weathervain for a...

Re: Hamilton Rainwear

That sounds fantastic. I do hope that you will be able to make either a unisex fitting and male fitting macks. Not many companies make up to a 46 inch chest or longer lengths in their styles.
Thanks again for keeping the company going.

All the best for the future.
