I am with you there. I would only place my feet in the boots. Filling them with mud sort of "de-feets" the purpose of boots. Additionally filling my boots with anything other then my feet would get my dress dirty.

Another one I use is honey or golden syrup as the viscosity is unbeatable, I would highly recommend something like this in your boots

I am a big welly fan and often like to get my Nora's messy for fun and a little more. I often accompany them with green bib and brase waterproofs and jacket. Just after people thorts am opinions on there best ways to enjoy the passion and pastime of mine. Only new so be kind lol.
