The only thing I have worn beneath shiny rainwear is another shiny raincoat.

It's ok to wear a raincoat anywhere,as long as there is rain or the threat of rain. Certainly not in this hot weather though! As much as I enjoy wearing plastic/pvc, I draw the line at wearing my rainwear in the heat!

Prefer a hood. I too like the sound of rain on it.

Much as I enjoy the sun, think we are due for some rain this weekend in my area. Time to get the plastic raincoat on again...looking forward to it!

Out in town this afternoon wearing my pvc raincoat finally got a sighting of someone else wearing her shiny pvc raincoat. It was a green hooded jacket and maybe late 20s early 30s. It was a rare sighting but good to know there are others about prepared to dress sensibly!

MaybeI should have gone to Blackpool on Saturday. I was wearing my semi transparent black cagoule in Skipton on that day, and was the only person wearing pvc. Would have been good to see someone else though. Did get a smile from a lady which made it worthwhile. Seems like it is going to be a wet wee...

BTW, my pul unisex cagoule has done a great job in the rain this weekend, keeping me dry. Looking at the forecast for the next few days, it will be the only coat I am wearing! Must admit I love wearing it when it's wet.

No prblems wearing PVC in June on night like tonight where I live. Its pretty wet. Justg had a 20 minute walk from my local and was wearing my semi transparent black PUL cagoule. It was so wet that on way home I found somewhere to shelter a couple of minutes. I gave myself a good shake to get rid of...
